These award-winning historic photos were captured over the course of 4,000 nights, from 1987 to 1999, from a towering Historic Registry building at 9th Street and Avenue B. They are among the 10 images that survived both a suspicious turn-of-the-century warehouse fire and the theft of a lifetime worth of the artist's physical possessions in 2022.
